F-111

F-111 (Final & Fast)

Sugarbowl is done, no mas, closed, shut down. It seems almost criminal with tons of snow on the mountain. It's off to Alpine for more Spring days. Stay tuned.

Cloud Deck 8105'

Day 105

The cloud deck was just below the summit today which made from some great scenery.

B104 Bomber Day

The empty Spring slopes have made it much better for top to bottom bomber runs. I heard a rumor that they are changing Rahlves Run to Hucko's Run ;-)

The Marmot's have surfaced after their winter slumber. They are everywhere!

Spring "Won Oh Tree"

103!

It has started to warm up and the snow & icicles are slipping. It's pretty cool to look down the roof line and see the curve of the icicles pointing back in towards the house.

My neighbor has a toy to envy. A vintage Snow Cat. In case you're like me and are now interested in picking one up, check out: http://www.chameleoninc.com/snowcats/

Skiing has been pretty nice as well. Empty slopes, light breeze & warm temps.

Who's Your Daddy?

Brenda skied Palisades and today, that makes her your Daddy! Not some on the edge chute either but right down the middle! You'd have to stand on top of it to appreciate the vertical and realize that a fall would result in a 500 yard slide all the way down through the chute.

Skied with "Ivan the Great" all afternoon. Here are a few shots of Ivan rippin' at the Bowl today!

We hit the Rahlves Toe Kick today but without the Olympic Hucko Flair.
