Timing is everything. It was nice to arrive AFTER this bowl & cornice decided to slide.

Not far from here today another major avalanche made the news.

We have been in a storm cycle for about 2 weeks and the snow totals are piling up. The dangers of avalanche are showing themselves all over this week.
